Saturday Soccer Sessions
We hold our bi-monthly Saturday Soccer Sessions approximately every six weeks. These 2-hour clinics are open to children who are in treatment or who have received treatment for cancer, or whose parent or sibling has been diagnosed with cancer. Clinics typically begin with skills and drills excises and end with a lively, friendly soccer tournament. We take a break for snacks and refreshments, which we provide for participants. Parents are free to grab a coffee and stay to watch the action or leave and return for pickup. Read our FAQ for program details.
Cancer steals 'normality' from life in so many ways. At We Can Kick It, kids have an opportunity to forget their worries while learning new skills and having a great time. Our coaches understand the struggles of our participants and adjust the session to match each child's physical ability and skill level. The ultimate goal is for everyone to have fun.
Saturday Soccer Sessions are a welcoming community of people who share the battles you are facing. It's a great place to build friendships, find support, and connect with someone who just "gets it." Most importantly, though, is the kids get to be kids.
